Rosie O’Donnell has floated the bizarre claim that Elon Musk could use his Starlink satellites to manipulate the upcoming midterm elections.
The comedienne presented the allegation in a TikTok video while voicing hope that an enormous turnout would overwhelm any attempt to interfere with the results, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.
O’Donnell tied her prediction to November 4, saying a huge public response could prevent Republicans from rigging the election. She also suggested such a result could begin a dramatic collapse in support for the MAGA movement.
“When this is over — hopefully on November 4th when people show up en masse, and they cannot rig the election or use Elon Musk’s satellites to alter the election because the turnout will be so large — hopefully then we will be able to see a tremendous decline in the MAGA cult,” she declared.

And we will have to be welcoming to them back into the reality of the USA and what we stand for because boy it’s not MAGA and it’s definitely not Mango Mussolini who seems to be getting worse every day with his dementia”

Despite the sweeping nature of the accusation, O’Donnell offered no evidence that Musk could use Starlink to alter election results. Her video did not provide support for the idea that his satellite network would play any role in manipulating the vote.
The unusual allegation resembles claims that circulated among activists opposed to Trump following the 2024 presidential election. Some of those activists suggested that Musk’s Starlink satellite network had been used to manipulate voting machines.
O’Donnell then shifted from her election warning to her view of what should happen to Trump supporters afterward. She suggested they would need to be welcomed back and reintegrated into the broader society.
“We will have to be welcoming to them back into the reality of the United States of America and what we stand for, because, boy, it’s not MAGA and what they’re about,” she said.
Her criticism quickly became more personal as she turned directly toward Trump. “It’s definitely not Mango Mussolini, who seems to be getting worse every day with his dementia,” she claimed.
O’Donnell continued her attack with an even broader condemnation of Trump. “The man is a myriad of problems, in every way, psychologically, physically, and morally.”
House Speaker Mike Johnson also became a target during the TikTok video. O’Donnell said she hoped Johnson would “go away and go back to being a farmer” in Louisiana.
The latest remarks were not O’Donnell’s first speculation about dramatic disruption surrounding the midterms. In June, she suggested Trump could exploit an assassination attempt or a terrorist attack as grounds to cancel the elections.
Her newest video arrived while Musk continued supporting Republican candidates ahead of the November elections. The source reported that his political spending during the 2026 election cycle had reached approximately $276 million.
Elon Musk is putting more than $276 million behind Republicans ahead of the midterms, and he's doing it without the high-profile campaign appearances that defined his support for President Trump in 2024.
The world's only trillionaire is now the biggest known donor of the election cycle, including a staggering $158 million contribution to the main super PAC backing Republican Senate candidates. Another $76 million is going to America PAC, which is rebuilding the massive door-knocking operation it used to help elect Trump in 2024. Musk is also directing $10 million toward a group supporting Texas Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton. The spending marks a dramatic reversal from May 2025, when Musk said he planned to scale back his political contributions, declaring, "I think I've done enough." That money went toward supporting Republican candidates and political organizations. The total made Musk one of the largest political donors in American history, according to the source.
O’Donnell nevertheless offered no evidence connecting that political spending to her claim about satellites and election manipulation. Instead, her comments combined a warning about alleged election interference with hopes for a massive turnout and a decline in the MAGA movement.
The TikTok video also placed Musk, Trump and Johnson within the same sprawling political rant. O’Donnell moved from an unsupported Starlink allegation to attacks on Trump’s condition and character, then to her wish that Johnson would leave politics.
At the center of the video was her insistence that turnout would be crucial on November 4. Yet the explosive suggestion that Musk’s satellites could alter the election remained unsupported by any evidence presented in her remarks.
